Recognition

Ananya recieved her official certification as a Madhubani painting artist  from Kalakriti, a Bihar Government approved Madhubani Painting Institute (India). To qualify, she completed 15 professional grade painting projects, 40 volunteer teaching hours, 12 group exhibitions and a solo show.

Ananya was awarded PVSA for her community work in the arts in 2023, which consisted of launching a public speaking program to enable young artists to confidently communicate, creating online art tutorials, and teaching the principles of Madhubani art at workshops. 

Co-authored a 9-page research paper with teacher Deepti Agrawal, published as a chapter in the book "Fashion, Textiles, and Technology”.

Recieved this certificate for designing and conducting a 5 week public speaking program at Deepti Designs through summer 2023. 

Ananya's artwork titled "Plant a Healthy Planet" advanced to state level with an Honorable Mention in the National PTA Reflections Arts Category. The prompt for the year was "I will change the world by...".
